The rain was letting up just as Jamie began to put on her dress. The sky opened and the sun shone bright over … Lake, where her family had spent endless summers and countless holidays. This hidden treasure in the East Kootenays of British Columbia set the perfect, intimate backdrop to a significant part of Jamie and Dave’s love story. Their Wedding Day would officially place this beautiful cabin property in Dave’s heart forever. After sealing their forever with a kiss, Dave paddled his bride out on to the lake to share a quiet moment together. It was a beautiful sight as we watched and shared in the celebration with their loved ones on land.

The tented fête to follow was a beautiful reflection of Jamie and Dave, and the life they’ve created together. Guests were greeted with Kombucha cocktails, farm-to-table food, warm candle light and live folk music. Stories upon stories were shared of the two of them before and after they met; reminding us once again the beauty of marriage and two lives coming together to create one.
