David and Hannah’s Fairmont Palliser wedding in Calgary was a truly stunning, elegant celebration. The Palliser always delivers when it comes to elegance and class, doesn’t it!? After months of navigating restrictions from pandemic times, David and Hannah, who were living abroad and planning from afar, were so excited and grateful to finally be able to celebrate with all their family and friends at home here in Calgary.

First of all, we need to take a moment to acknowledge and gush on Hannah’s Pronovias gown! It was the ultimate statement piece, and paired so beautifully with her swept-back ponytail. Her look was true classic elegance with a hint of playful boldness. David and Hannah complimented each other perfectly. We couldn’t think of a more fitting setting for them than at the Fairmont Calgary Palliser Hotel. After they shared a private moment to see each other for the first time, the excitement of the day took off. (Tip: If you don’t prefer to do emotional moments for the first time in front of a crowd, we’d recommend planning a first look. It takes the edge off nerves for your ceremony.)

The couple chose a very classic palette and style for the day: black and white with gold decor that paired impeccably with the finishings of the Fairmont Palliser’s Crystal Ballroom. If felt grand and elegant, and was the perfect marriage with the historic charm of the surroundings.

Since it was the first time in a long time that everyone was finally in the same room together again, it was important to David and Hannah that their day focused on enjoying each other’s company. And enjoy they did. Their guests arrived in stunning attire, ready to party.
